Directions
By Road
Cal Software is located just off junction 8 of the M61, and easy to find from this junction. Access can be made from either the motorway (as below) or from the A6 to the North of Chorley town centre. Next simply head towards the M61 junction 8 and follow the directions below.
From the North
1) Head south down the M6 to Junction 30 and then take the M61 south to Junction 8.
2) At the roundabout at the end of the slip road, take the third exit (sign posted Chorley and Southport), on to a dual carriageway. After 50 yards take the slip road to the left, sign posted Chorley North Business Park. Follow the road to the bottom of the hill and take the first right. Cal Software Limited is 250 yards down this road on the right hand side with a signpost outside indicating the premises.
From the South
3) Head north up the M6 to Junction 29 and take the M65 East coming off at the next junction. Go south onto the M61 to Junction 8 and follow the directions as in 2 above.
From the East
4) Once on the M61 north bound (from the M60 - formally known as the M62) come off at Junction 8. Follow the directions from 2 above except that you will need to take the first exit at the roundabout.
By Air
The nearest airport is Manchester International Airport, which is situated 35 miles south of Chorley and has easy access to the motorway network. Take the M56 and follow the signs for the M62 (Leeds), get on the M60 Manchester Orbital and take the M61 north following the directions described in 4 above. Cars are available for hire at the airport if required.
By Rail
The nearest main line station is Preston (although there are rail connections to Chorley, which operate at frequent intervals.
Taxis operate from Preston Station. In all likely-hood a taxi will follow the road south down the A6 to the roundabout at the Hartwood Hall Hotel. From there it will go left on the dual carriageway link to the M61. After going all the way around the roundabout and back on itself it will follow the directions as in 2 above.
